SORELLE MOLINELLI
Sorrelle Molinelli (The Molinelli Sisters) is a duo composed of Mezzo-soprano Manuela (Alena) Molinelli and Soprano Regina (Gina) Molinelli who are not actually sisters but are amazing singers! They have performed extensively on their own, and together in Assisi, NYC at the Sheen Center, Graymoor the Holy Mountain, and Parishes in the NY Archdiocese. (see sample videos below)
FYI Michael Molinelli, the creator of Molarity, is the husband of Regina Molinelli and the distant cousin of Manuela Molinelli and the unofficial manager of Sorelle Molinelli. And this was the quickest way to establish a webpage dedicated to their concerts!
Manuela Molinelli is an acclaimed opera and liturgical singer based out of Assisi. Since she was a child, she has been in choirs, have sung solo for three Popes, performed in operas and concerts in Europe and Puerto Rico, and sung with many different groups in concerts from South Africa to Poland. Manuela has also sung with Frate Alessandro on many occasions in Assisi. Manuela is cofounder of the Orchestra Lirica Umbra, a group of singers and musicians who give concerts throughout the year at churches and theaters in Italy. For Palm Sunday, the OLU performed the Stabat Mater in Assisi with Manuela as the featured mezzo-soprano.
